Ukraine

With nearly 5.7 million students in a country the size of Texas, Ukraine is among the largest and most talented international student markets in Europe.

Ukraine is relatively known for its top-quality education. The country ranks fourth in the world in the number of people with a higher education, and the literacy rate is 100 percent among its youngest generations.

There has been a major concern over the past few years on whether academic institutions with special emphasis on European ones on whether they value compliance issues. Ukrainian tertiary institution among other are an exception in this regard as they fully observe European life standards to the aid of students both regional and international.

To buttress this, there is a general worldwide acceptance of Ukrainian methods of teaching ranging from the use of English language as the medium for teaching and emphasis on practical aspects of teaching making it highly preferred for study.

Why Study in Ukraine

What has exclusively put Ukraine’s education on the global map is its uncompromised multi-dimensional approach in delivering learning to its students through an enabling and conducive academic environment.

This has to date seen the country producing globally recognised courses (in Europe, UK, USA, Asia, Africa). Of exceptional mention is their medical degree recognised by WHO, UNESCO, PLAB (UK), USMLE (USA) amongst many, throughout EU and various international organisations.

Upon admission students do not need to undergo any form of entry examination which includes IELTS or TOEFL. The aforementioned attracts a larger scale in the international market for most Ukrainian tertiary institutions.

Most students give preference to transparent institutions and one way that Ukraine guarantees this is by allowing converted students to pay their tuition fees upon arrival.

This also has relived a mass from the universities as the lag between processing time and receipting is eliminated.

Upon admission students are exposed to enhanced academic experience through visiting professors from USA, Canada, UK amongst many.

To build a fruitful academic atmosphere student participate in seminars, project work, symposia and many other programs across diverse European cities.

This also involves Bilateral Student Exchange Program with universities in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Check Republic, etc.

There is much to adore with Ukraine institutes but outstanding is the transportation systems in the country. The backbone of Ukraine’s public transportation is buses, trams and trolleybuses (electrically driven).

Public transportation is quite developed in large Ukrainian cities (Kyiv, Odessa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk etc.) and you can easily get from one part of the city to another by just using the city transport at reasonably affordable fares.

Ukraine Student Visa

Each and every student regardless of the nationality is required by the law in Ukraine to have a valid student visa with him or her all the time while studying in Ukraine. The visa is officially issued by the Migration Department of Ukraine. Students are eligible to apply for a Ukraine student visa soon after acquiring the acceptance letter and paying the respective tuition fees of the university.

It is possible to bring your family with you to Ukraine for your studies, however, it should be your immediate family members such as spouse and kids. There is also a possibility for your friends and other family members to visit you during your studies in Ukraine but they have to submit the student’s residence permit or student visa in order to obtain the visitor’s visa.

It is also possible to change or transfer to a different university while studying in Ukraine but immigration offices have to be notified of the development and a new residence permit or student visa will be offered. Full-time international Students are expected to attend the majority of their classes without failure.
